272 ESOL, 5 Counselors, 1 Social Studies (1 class only), 1 PE (holding for DOE issuing PE certificate), 1 Media Specialist (has Library Science degree, waiting on FL test), 6 Gifted, 68 Reading (36 are also OF in ESOL)

5. Update on Proposed Budget Cuts

Minutes: At Chairman Vallencourt's request, Dr. Copeland gave a brief summary of the budget reductions.  Detailed runs have now been released showing final cuts from the special legislative session.  See the attachment for the revised 2nd calculation with the reductions as compared to the 2007-08 2nd calculation.  Clay County's reduction will be approximately $3.6 million.  The  3rd calculation is expected in December.
